The Criminal Defense Attorney’s of Michigan (CDAM) is a nonprofit and Michigan’s largest statewide criminal defense attorney organization. Each year the organization sponsors educational opportunities at a variety of conferences, and this years Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan – Fall Conference, was held November 10th through the 12th in Traverse City. With both Mike Hills and Jessica LaFond representing Hills law this years at the CDAM, The Conference featured Dean A. Strang, as the Keynote Speaker. Dean is best known for his work as one of the Steven Avery trial lawyers in the series “Making a Murder” as well as his book “Worse than the Devil: Anarchist, Clarence Darrow, And Justice In A Time Of Terror”.
